Terms of use

These terms govern your use of the EOR Bolivia website. Please read them before relying on any information here.

Last updated: January 2026

About these terms

This website is operated by EOR Bolivia. By accessing or using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. These website terms are separate from any service agreement we may enter into with you, which will have its own terms.

Information, not advice

The content on this site describes our services and gives general information about employment, payroll, tax, currency and immigration in Bolivia. It is not legal, tax or immigration advice, and it should not be relied on as such. Bolivian employment law is protective and procedurally demanding, and how any rule applies depends closely on the facts. You should take professional advice before acting on anything you read here, and in particular before terminating any employment relationship in Bolivia.

No guarantee of accuracy or outcome

We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that all content is complete, accurate or up to date at all times. Figures such as the national minimum wage, contribution rates, tax thresholds, government fees, exchange rates and timelines change. The minimum wage in particular is reset each year by supreme decree and applied retroactively. Where a date is shown against a figure, that is the position we believe applied at that date and not a representation that it still applies. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that any particular visa, residence permit or administrative approval will be granted, since those decisions rest with the Bolivian authorities.

Currency and exchange rates

Any conversion between bolivianos and another currency shown on this site is indicative and valid only as at the date stated. Bolivia's exchange rate regime changed materially in 2026 and the currency has moved since, so any figure expressed in a foreign currency should be re-checked before it is relied on for budgeting.

Use of the site

You agree to use the site lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it. You may view and print content for your own business use, but you may not copy, republish or exploit it commercially without our permission.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including text, layout, graphics and branding, is owned by or licensed to EOR Bolivia and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. The EOR Bolivia name and logo may not be used without our written consent.

Third-party links

The site may link to third party websites for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data. A link does not imply endorsement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EOR Bolivia is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

Any employment relationship we establish in Bolivia is governed by Bolivian law and falls under the jurisdiction of the Bolivian labour authorities and courts. That position cannot be varied by agreement. Our commercial services agreement with a client may specify a different governing law and dispute resolution forum, including arbitration, and where it does, that agreement prevails over these website terms as between us and that client. These website terms themselves are governed by the law stated in that services agreement or, in the absence of one, by Bolivian law.

Language

This website is published in English for the convenience of international clients. Employment contracts, filings and other documents we issue in Bolivia are in Spanish, and where a document exists in both languages the Spanish text governs.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date shown above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
